ConneXions high school program is designed for young people interested in arts, activism, and in-depth learning. Prospective ConneXions students should have a strong desire to become an expert in their artistic field. Though there are no audition or entrance requirements, ConneXions is looking for talented, motivated individuals with a deep interest in performing or visual art.
Arts are structured as “tracks” rather than individual classes. The arts tracks are rigorous training programs with the goal of turning out highly competitive artists who will be academically, and artistically prepared to continue their growth at the college level. ConneXions School for the Arts offers tracks in both performing and visual arts that are rich in authentic experiences and foster personal and artistic growth. Students attending Connexions are required to earn art credits in addition to general credits.
